"Phone capture is kind of rough"
I’d say the scans come out blurry most of the time, and there are weird gaps in them often. It’s been a bit frustrating to use

it does look nice, but I didn’t really see any increase in leads for my real estate posts. For what it costs, it feels a bit on the expensive side.

I was really hoping the 3D scan would make my listing easier, but it came out blurry and warped, so I couldn’t really use it at all. It ended up creating a bunch of unexpected stress because I had to figure out another way to get my listing ready. Frustrating experience overall

"Why is sharing tours so complicated?"
I tried sharing a tour project with my team, it turned into way more of a hassle than it should’ve been. Something as simple as sending access around somehow became confusing, with permissions not updating properly and people telling me the links weren’t working. For a tool that’s supposed to help with collaboration, this part feels way too clunky and slow.

"Canceling Felt Way Harder Than It Needed To"
I tried canceling my Matterport plan it ended up being way more annoying than I expected. Signing up was quick and easy, but when it came time to stop the subscription, the option wasn’t exactly easy to find.
It kind of felt like the process was made more complicated than it needed to be, which doesn’t leave the best impression. If something only takes a few minutes to start, canceling shouldn’t feel like a scavenger hunt. I probably wouldn’t use it again.

I tried to embed it exactly how I wanted, but it just wouldn’t work the way I expected. What made it more frustrating was having to explain the same issue over and over like I hadn’t already said what I was trying to do. It felt like a lot of back and forth for something that should’ve been straightforward.

I used matterport for a client walkthrough, it didn’t look as good as I expected, lol. The presentation felt a little clunky, the loading was slow, and moving around the space wasn’t very smooth. My client got confused a few times, and I had to stop and explain what they were looking at, which kind of defeats the whole point. For the price, I expected something cleaner and more reliable. It might be fine for internal use, but I probably wouldn’t use it again for an important client presentation

I had a problem with my Matterport upload, so I reached out to support. They did get back to me and, to be fair, they fixed it in the end. It just took a little longer than I was expecting, and I kind of had to explain the same issue twice, which was a bit frustrating. So... not a bad experience exactly, but I wouldn’t say it was super smooth either.

"Felt uneasy about the privacy side"
I tried using matterport, and at first I thought it was cool seeing my space scanned like that. But after I dug a little deeper into the data ownership and privacy details, I started feeling uncomfortable. It kind of felt like once my scans were uploaded, they weren’t fully mine anymore. I’m sure that might not bother everyone, but for me personally, it was enough to make me step back.

I use matterport for property scans and overall it does the job well. My main issue is the uploading part, especially with larger files. It’ll say things in a way that makes it sound like it’s almost done, but then it just sits there forever and I can’t tell if it’s actually still working or completely stuck. That kind of wording is misleading and makes the whole process more frustrating than it needs to be. Processing can take longer than expected too, even when my internet connection is decent. The final tour usually comes out looking good, which is why I keep using it, but I really wish the upload and processing times were clearer and more predictable.

I actually liked using the tool and thought it worked well, but the billing side really threw me off. Charges showed up that I didn’t feel were clearly explained ahead of time, and it left me wondering if I’d missed something or was being taken advantage of. I don’t like feeling like I have to double-check everything just to make sure I’m not getting fooled. Support did respond, but the answers were basic and didn’t really clear things up. Matterport itself works fine for what I need, so my quick mental shortcut is: the product is solid, but the support experience drags it down. I waited a few days to hear back from a real person, and the first reply felt copy-and-pasted. I ended up following up twice before getting anywhere. It’s not the worst customer service I’ve dealt with, but I’d definitely expect faster, more helpful responses.

"Managing my account was honestly a headache"
I was just trying to make a few basic changes to my account, billing info, plan settings, that kind of thing — and somehow it turned into this whole frustrating loop. The settings weren’t clear, and every time I thought I had updated something, it either didn’t save or sent me somewhere else.

Support didn’t really help much either. I waited longer than expected, and the replies felt canned… like they weren’t actually reading what I was asking. For something as simple as managing an account, it really shouldn’t be this difficult. I ended up leaving annoyed and still not totally sure everything was fixed.
